Sheila has been described as an atmospheric painter and loves using surprising and unusual
colour combinations to create energy and emotion.  She is strongly influenced by the patina
that the passage of time leaves on everyday structures and objects.  Sheila is driven by her
belief that life is full of turbulence, and man constantly seeks an unobtainable ‘balance’.
Her evocative art is an attempt to find that elusive balance.
